Gabrielle Trúc is a writer based in Brooklyn. She was an Axinn Fellow in Nonfiction at NYU, where she received an MFA in Creative Writing. Her writing has been supported by fellowships and awards from Hedgebrook, Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference, Periplus, Carolyn Moore Writers' Residency, and Writing by Writers.

Previously, she worked as a writer for global nonprofits, supporting communications and fundraising. As a Princeton in Asia Fellow in Sài Gòn, Vietnam, where her family has roots, she worked in public health and urban policy.

She is currently at work on a novel.
